PLOT:
Spy Smasher sends her newly acquired team of super-heroes to infiltrate a fundraising soirée being thrown by an ex-KGB profiteer named Feodor Kerimov. Kerimov's ultimate goal is to see the return of socialist rule in Russia, a goal he intends on achieving by building an army of super-soldiers using the technology derived from the suit of the deceased Rocket Red. Spy Smasher can't have that happen obviously so she tasks the team with retrieving the Rocket Red suit and getting it back to America. But Kerimov has some hired help of his own in the form of the Secret Six, a collection of devious mercenaries like Deadshot, Knockout, Vandal Savage and the re-emerging Catman (aka Thomas Blake).

In true spy movie fashion, Blake and Helena encounter one another in their civilian identities out on the dance floor and the sparks fly. Before their budding romance can go too far however, Big Barda is spotted by her fellow Apokoliptian warrior Knockout which leads to a violent confrontation between the two. Their cover blown, the Birds make off with the Rocket Red suit and head towards Oracle's safe house. In an attempt to slow down the Six in their pursuit after them, Oracle sends in Hawkgirl to de-commission the Six's ride.

While riding in the back of the van en route to the safehouse, the Birds are shocked to find that inside of the Rocket Red suit is none other than Ice - another former member of that ill-fated version of the Justice League from so long ago! What's more is that Ice, long though to be dead, appears to be just barely alive and breathing!
