Vincent drunkenly wakes his may to the Dodds household where he offers to give Rachel the cure to the demon infection as soon as Simon Dark dies.
Meanwhile, Simon and Detective Kirk fight their way through the Mayor's mansion full of cult members en route to try and stop the summoning. Simon reveals that while he can withstand bullet fire, he sometimes
goes 'inside' to hide whenever he gets shocked or frightened as he did when the police shot at him and Eddie Machete.
Simon and Tom are attacked by a demon monster who Simon 'reads' and discovers that the two may be locked in some form of Gladiator style combat to the death!
