Using the pretext of a brave squire awaiting the return of his noble knight, the children hear of Alfred's adventures including helping deliver a set of babies and freeing a group of people from being forced into slave labor. In the end, Alfred was saved from certain death just in the knick of time by a returning Batman. Alfred retires for the evening after bidding goodnight to the children and he and Batman make preparations to take on Two-Face next.
