PLOT:
Batman and Robin tail a wanted criminal aboard a ferry. Due to strange atmospheric conditions, the ferry is transported to another dimension. The crook, Eddie Stark, escapes into the jungle, while Batman and the other passengers are captured by a race called the Yllans.

The Yllans accuse the Earthmen of being evil. Before, they can be convinced otherwise, their archenemies, the Gruggs, attack. Batman helps fend them off, but Stark steals the Yllan weapon that can defeat the Gruggs.

Batman and Robin search for Stark while the others are held captive. Stark uses the weapon, a tele-dome, to command the Gruggs into attacking Batman. Robin must rescue him and together they use the pollen from a plant to cause Stark to sneeze a lot. The Dynamic Duo is able to capture Stark and return the Yllan weapon. The humans are then allowed to return home.

PLOT:
The publisher of a small newspaper the Maritime News, Ken Wall, is forced down from the sky in his helicopter. Injured in the crash, he is unable to continue publishing his paper which was to reveal the identity of a pirate, the Sea Raider.

Aquaman and Aqualad help to report stories, publish, and distribute the paper in Wall’s absence. The continued publication draws the ire of Captain Scobey, the Sea Raider. He tries to kill Aquaman as he injured, Wall, but the Sea King defeat the villain, and keeps the paper alive until Wall can return to work.

TITLE: The Girl-Hero Contest

CHARACTERS: Martian Manhunter; Diane Meade

PLOT:
Policewoman Sally Winter makes a daring rescue and is nominated for a bravery medal, awarded by detective John Jones. Seeking to win Jones’ favor herself, Diane Meade makes a rescue of her own. Unknown to either woman, their rescues were assisted by the Martian Manhunter.

As the competition ensues, both women try to save a small girl from a burning building. Jones is prevented from assisting due to his weakness to fire. The women become trapped on the roof with fire crews unable to reach them. J’onn visits the mattress factory next door to the burning building and builds a staircase to the roof out of mattresses, saving both girls who end up sharing the bravery medal.
