Judged to be the most beautiful woman in eight systems, Lady Bleez lead a charmed life. Living in a gigantic picturesque castle and being waited on hand and foot by her royal slaves. But still, Bleez dreamed of more. She dreamt of a day when one of her suitors would see her for more than just her looks. Her mother,
insistent that she continue on her lineage, would arrange for countless suitors to meet with Bleez. But she had decided that she would not longer entertain those who sought only her beauty. She had no idea what a dark and twisted turn this search would soon take.
One day a tall and dashing man purporting to have great power would enter the court to request Bleez's hand. Arranging a meeting between the two, the queen had no idea that this man just happened to be a member of the evil Sinestro Corps. She would never live to regret the mistake.
Taken captive and held aboard the giant sentient city of Ranx, Bleez now found that she herself had become a slave. Her would-be suitor took particular delight in torturing her, plucking out her feathers so that she could never fly away. But as luck would have it, an opportunity would soon present itself for just such an escape as the Green Lanterns began their
siege on Ranx. In the ensuing chaos she was able to escape the city only to be seized once more by her captor. Pulling her close he forced himself into a lip-lock with the princess.
It was at this moment, her heart full of hate, her blood boiling like napalm, that the Red Lantern ring found Lady Bleez. And upon inserting itself around her finger she found her vengeance, slitting her captor's throat and spewing out her hot lava-like blood down his wind-pipe. Now rage is her only captor.

CHARACTERS:
Carol Ferris; Queen Aga'po
PLOT:
Throughout her life, love and loss has gone hand and hand for Carol Ferris. Her father, her mother, even Hal Jordan. And over time, that great loss has accumulated and left a hole in her heart. But it's her absolute dedication to love and willingness to sacrifice her own happiness for her loved ones that attracts the Violet ring to her. It's the emptiness which the Star Sapphires wish to fill with love.
So, from time to time over the past few years, the ring has sailed down from the heavens and chosen Carol. The Violet light, on the far end of the spectrum, is a powerful one - blindingly so. And each time the ring has placed itself on Carol's finger, it's turned her into a kind of "femme fatale" irrationally lashing out at Green Lantern and nearly killing him a time or two.
But this time, the ring acts differently. It gives Carol the choice to accept it. Due to a modification from the Zamarons, the ring's recipient must now be willing. A voluntary wearer, they theorize, will be able to actually wield the powerful Violet light instead of being controlled and
overwhelmed by it. Carol, it appears, has the potential to become the most powerful of the Star Sapphires and aid them as they fight alongside the Green Lantern Corps to prevent the end of the universe. Having been given a glimpse at the
perilous future lying ahead of Hal, Carol finally agrees to don the Violet ring and head back to Zamaron to lead the Corps.
They say love conquers all, but will Carol Ferris be conquered by Love?

possessions could be dropped inside his mouth by the barrel full. When they finally ran out of possessions (he was never satiated), he would leave, sparing them their lives.
This continued until one day Blume was drawn into the orbit of Okaara, home to Agent Orange. Larfleeze has no intentions of giving anything of his away. As a matter of fact, the sole Orange Lantern was more interested in what Blume could offer him.
Within moments of landing, the planet's crest had opened up and begun swallowing Blume whole. The consumer became consumed. And now Blume is the newest possession of the Orange lanterns, his avatar destined to defend the Orange light from anyone who might come near it.
