PLOT:
In the midst of a global meltdown on his home world of Astonia, Saint Bro'Dee Walker maintains his faith in his scriptures and leads his family members on a pilgrimage up Mount Helious in pursuit of the salvation promised to their people in the great book. Despite intense physical conditions and the loss of every single on of his family members along the way, Walker maintains his faith and reaches the summit only to find nothing there.

Angry and alone he lashes out at god, screaming to the heavens only to find that the heavens in turn, screamed back. The clouds above produce a torrential downpour of rain that saves his world below prompting Walker to return to his community and preach the word to anyone and everyone who would listen.

"Sentient Located. All Will Be Will." the blue ring announces as it bursts out of Astonia's nearby sun en route to Saint Walker. The blue ring's immense power gives renewed youth to the sun, bringing it back from the edge of a collapse. And when Walker places the ring around his finger he is surrounded by the blue spectral projections of his lost loved ones. Re-united with those he loves, Saint Walker looks to the sky, noticing all the other countless blue stars given re-birth by the blue rings and maintains his faith, his hope, even in the darkest of hours.

TITLE: Tales of the Sinestro Corps: Mongul - For Your Love

WRITER(s): Peter J. Tomasi
PENCILER(s): Chris Samnee
INKER(s): Chris Samnee
COLORS: John Kalisz
LETTERS: Sal Cipriano

CHARACTERS: Mongul (Senior); Mongul (Junior)

PLOT:
Growing up, young Mongul idolized his father. He'd spent countless hours watching and re-watching "digis" of his greatest battles against the Justice League and others and emulating the actions he saw. Even at a young age, Mongul had the capacity to instill great fear. When an otherwise peaceful group of aliens crash-landed on his planet, he forced them to be his slaves, threatening them with death if they did not serve him and help train him to become a better warrior.

Even though his father would eventually return home and wipe out the alien followers that dared to worship someone other than himself, the younger Mongul knew exactly what he wanted to be when he grew up.

TITLE: The Indigo Tribe

WRITER(s): Geoff Johns
PENCILER(s): Rags Morales
INKER(s): Rags Morales
COLORS: Nei Ruffino
LETTERS: Steve Wands

CHARACTERS: Indigo

PLOT:
In space sector 3544 there lives a nomadic tribe of heretofore unknown Lanterns known as the Indigo Lanterns. Instead of power rings, the mostly peaceful looking aliens wield power staffs that allow them power over the emotion of Compassion.

One night, during their journeys, the Indigo tribe would come across a mortally wounded Green Lantern who had fallen during a battle with a Sinestro Corps member. By coming into contact with the Green Lantern, Indigo was able to some how siphon his Green power and use it to euthanize him. A similar thing occurred when the Sinestro soldier would challenge the tribe. His yellow power of fear, re-routed back to him and magnified - turning into a gigantic frightening construct, was enough to scare him off and cause him to flee.

The Indigo Lanterns continued on their trek.
