Yeah, probably The Joker. I also liked Two-Face and Bane.
So, I don't know if I could put my finger on who is exactly my favorite villain.

I like more serious, realistic villains. I love the early 1940 stories with the Joker as a silent, methodical, revenge-killer. I loved Hugo Strange as the stereotypical mad scientist and Doctor Death was just great, too.
Nowadays, I still prefer the Joker, but I don't like when efforts are made to make him actually funny!
I also like Two-Face because his character deals with duality, Ra's Al Ghul because in many ways, he's the flip side of Batman, Hush for the same reason, Deadshot because he's just cool, Blackmask because he's so sick, the corrupt policemen of the GCPD because they make Batman that bit more realistic and lastly, Scarecrow because it's such an original idea.
Villains I don't like, include Mad Hatter, Poison Ivy, Maxie Zeus, and any other silly villains that I forgot to mention.
A villain I think got better treatment in the animated universe is Clayface. His story was far more tragic and combined various elements from the comic version.
In the shadows I saw my destiny...
I would seek justice...
I would have my revenge...

Joker, Scarecrow, Maximillion Zeus, Riddler, Scarface/Ventriloquist, and Two-Face.
(I also like Penguin) Here are some of my favorates that are not in the show Mr. Zsaz, SteelJacket, Dr. Phosphorus, and General.

In order: Riddler, Scarecrow, Mad Hatter, Ventrilquist, Joker, Penguin, Harley, Killer Crock, Maxie Zeus, Ivy, Clayface, Catwoman, Tw-Face am I missing anybody? And I guess I kinda like Roxie Rocket cuz she's so rediculous. It's like she's been sprayed with the anti-fear gas of the Scarecrow.
I'm not too fond of the Clock King or Ra's Al Ghoul. Every other villain in the show I have no comment on.
I've fooled the police, the doctors, the porole board, all of them! There's only one person who has ever been able to challenge me - Batman! He's the only one worthy of the game! |

The Joker. I actually like the joker when hes a mix of being funny and deadly. Dark Humor. If the joker isn't funny, then there's no point in his name. The 70's version (Laughing Fish) shows this well. |
