Yeah, the whole "childhood friend who ends up in the D.A.'s office" was stolen by Rachel. Bruce and Harvey will have to meet later. |

maybe he was somehow involved in the wayne murder case? that could explain why Bruce knows harvey and could have an already established relationship

Yea I second that...he didnt impress me as an intimidating person in Hulk.

I didn't think he was supposed to be intimidating in the Hulk. I thought he was just meant to be obnoxious. Anyway, I'm not going to judge his performance on the Hulk and say how he would fare as Harvey. I think that, like Billy Dee Williams, Josh Lucas 'has his own brand of madness'. I think he'd be quite good.

I saw that rumor on BOF as well. It's interesting. I saw Lucas more as a Riddler-type with that big cheesy grin of his. But, he could be good as Harvey. |

an update on twoface and the joker from BOF:
OK dear BOF'ers, this next bit of info is NOT of the "take with a grain of salt" kind. This comes from one of my most trusted and LONGTIME insiders. Here goes:
"On your report that the people at 'Batman Sequel HQ' are looking at Josh Lucas, I can state that their eye is still firmly on Liev Schrieber for the role of 'newly minted' District Attorney Harvey Dent [As BOF was first to report --Jett]. Make no mistake that Nolan, Roven, Goyer etc. always get their man, okay? (No offense to Josh Lucas, of course -- he's a fine actor.)
Also, your report last year that Aussie Lachy Hulme was signing autographs on his latest movie set Down Under [M -- Jett] and saying 'it doesn't look good' about him playing The Joker? You may like to know that Warner Bros. does a 'daily briefing' on all the topics circulating the internet that directly relate to Warner interests (such as BATMAN sequel speculation). That particular Hulme comment (whether he said it or not) happened to top the WB daily briefing on the day you ran it, and WB went so far as to ask Mr. Hulme why he would say such a thing! (Do the math on that one my friend)."

Personally, I don't think you have anything to worry about. Depp's waaaay to big a star to be brought into the current Batfilms. I expect someone we're a little less familiar with. |

Yeah, it's not like Michael Caine or Morgan Freeman are two of the biggest actors in the world or anything.

Goyer has the right plan.
I'd like to see Harvey here voices in his head and have a distinct difference between his voices.

I'm so psyched that Liev Schreiber is their main choice for Two-Face. I've wanted him to play it before I even knew he was a contender.
And Depp would be a great Joker.*jljoker*

according to BOF (treat as a rumour):
Jake Gyllenhaal as Dent -- where there is smoke, there?s fire. I?ll put it like that?
In BEGINS the theme was ?fear;? in The Sequel, it may be ?duality.?
