that looks sweet, jake gylenhall (spelling?) right? i saw somewhere on BOF that Hugo Weaving, I believe it was, has been said to be in the race for the role of our fav. D.A but it has been rumoured a throwaway rumour (as in dont worry about it)

That picture confirms both how ridiculous Gylenhall and how good Schreiber would be.

I don't think he would be ridiculous but I agree that Schreiber would be the better actor for the role

No offense, but I'm against that.
IMO, Schreiber is a bit chubby for Harvey Dent/Two-Face. I found an awful pic of him. And this is no insult.

I say we use Gyllenhaal. Anyone with me?

Aww, thanks! *edited* I've standed corrected, peoples. Jake Gyllenhaal is likely to play District Attorney, Harvey Dent/Two-Face. I'm not saying its for sure.

No offense to the artwork of whoever made that but that looks horrible and if Leiv got the job they would most certainly not mak him look like that. On the contrary the normal looks of the actors dont concern the director...its what they can do and how well they can play the character and the image is least important not to mention left to the make up artists.::twoface::

straight from BOF, just remember that this is a RUMOUR and shouldn't be taken too seriously, at least not yet. (http://www.batman-on-film.com/batmovienews.html) <-- just follow the link and scroll down to read article....
I got wind of this rumor (and that?s all it is right now, OK?) not long ago from one of my industry friends. At the time, he himself said I should sit on it as it was nothing more than scuttlebutt and couldn?t be confirmed. So that?s exactly what I did -- I sat on it and didn?t mention it on BOF. Then today, I got an email from an emailer who has absolutely nothing to do with my insider amigo, but dropped the same bit of info the former had previously.
Both mentioned a name of a 32 year old actor who may, according to what both these guys heard, be being considered for the part of D.A. Harvey Dent. He?s an actor similar to the 27 year old Heath Ledger to a certain degree, although he?s nearly five years his senior. Who is this actor you ask?
Ryan Phillippe

Wow, I like that rumor. I have no idea who this guy is, but that picture is perfect. Kind of remind me of the 'Long Halloween' Dent. Hope this pans out to be true.

Ryan Phillippe from Cruel Intentions? He'd be very good, actually, in terms of performance. Physically, I don't know, he is still a bit young looking, but it could work, it could definitely work.

To further confirm Dent in the The Dark Knight, I don't think this has been mentioned yet, but at THE BATMAN panel at the Con, someone asked why they havent done two-face yet, and Alan Burnett actually stated that the studio was keeping him off limits because they had to wait to see what the movie would do to him. I doubt he was supposed to say that lol. And I am very sure that Gyllenhal wont be Dent lol, now that Ledger is Joker. No one would go to see Brokeback Gotham lol.

um, has he been confirmed or is it a really strong rumour:
RYAN PHILLIPPE is set to take over from TOMMY LEE JONES after reportedly landing the role of HARVEY DENT/TWO-FACE in the upcoming BATMAN BEGINS sequel. REESE WITHERSPOON's husband will join HEATH LEDGER, who has signed on to play THE JOKER, and new Batman CHRISTIAN BALE in THE DARK KNIGHT. CRASH star Phillippe beat LIEV SHREIBER and JOSH LUCAS to the role of the scheming district attorney, played by Jones in 1995 movie BATMAN FOREVER, according to internet reports. SIR MICHAEL CAINE and MORGAN FREEMAN have also joined the Batman cast, while fellow Oscar winner PHILIP SEYMOUR HOFFMAN is in talks to play THE PENGUIN in the new film.
