PLOT:
Renée Montoya, sent out for a few days off by Commissioner Gordon, went to stay with her parents. She began helping her brother with the clean-up and rescue nearby. Harvey Dent was in their group. She was skeptical, but his coin landed always on good heads. Working together, they formed a bond. Montoya saved his life when looters attacked and convinced Batman she'd reached him.

NOTE:
Although this comic was released during No Man's Land, this particular story takes place during Aftershock. It is the telling of the story referenced in "Random Encounters" (The Batman Chronicles #14)

TITLE: The Comforts of Home

PLOT:
A young couple tries to squat in an apartment Joker once used as a hideout. There they find (among other things) a collection of horrible smelling food, a television which only gets one demented channel, a trap door leading to a pool of Joker fish and a shrine to the dead Jason Todd simply entitled "The Day I Won." Little do they know, Batgirl has been trailing them this whole time. She stops them before they can foolishly answer a ringing phone (a boobytrap rigged to blow up the whole apartment). The apartment explodes into a ball of flames but not before Batgirl can get the two to safety. In celebration the man offers his wife a can of soda that he found in the apartment.. but he should know better than to drink anything that comes from the Joker....

TITLE: Harold

PLOT:
This story recounts what has happened to Harold since the quake. While trying to fix one of the many smashed Batmobiles in the Batcave, Alfred comes to him and asks him to leave until they call for him. For a moment Harold is reminded of his mother who forced him out of her life. He is depressed when he walks away from the destroyed Wayne Manor until he comes to Gotham City. An entire city that needs only one thing - repair. And repair makes Harold happy once again.
