PLOT:
Analyzing the fragment of Deathstroke, Bruce comes to a startling conclusion about the make-up of not only the masked monster but of the strange twisted world they find themselves in!
Gothamopolis, the Justice Titans, they're all figments of imagination. The world, he surmises - is a composite world made up of an amalgamation of personal characteristics culled from the
subconscious
of all of the major super-heroes. Superman and Batman are the only two minds left resisting the mash-up and as because of that the world is falling apart.
The only personal powerful enough to craft such a fictional world is Doctor Destiny. Able to attack heroes in their sleep and imprison them within their own nightmares, Destiny must have struck every hero from the Justice League and the Titans as they lay
sleeping. Given that magic users would be the only ones powerful enough to disrupt or distort his realities, the two most powerful magic users
from both teams have been combined into one memorialized fallen comrade named Ravanna whose statue stands in the Hall of Titans. When the Brotherhood of Injustice (lead by Lex Joker) makes their move on the J.T. Batman puts his theory to the test, knocking the statue over and smashing into
pieces, thus freeing
the combined entities of of Raven and Zatanna.
Although freed from their imprisonment, Zatanna and Raven must both each now overcome their own dream-world glamour. Split up between Zatanna's perfect dream world and Raven's worst nightmare, both Superman and Batman are
able to convince the heroines to fight from the grips of Destiny and as such all four heroes are allowed to wake up. The next day, back in regular old Gotham, Superman expresses concern over what Dee might have learned from his time
spent inside their heads. As a precaution, Bruce has had John Dee's daily meds upped at Arkham to ensure that whatever the good doctor may have learned about Batman and Superman will stay trapped forever inside
the comatose criminal.
