He wakes himself up and encounters the Corrosive Man and the demon Mahakala, who also can't be there, another dream. The number of foes he faces increases exponentially, but he figures he can summon up some allies to help him out in order to concentrate his own activities on really waking up. When he does so, he is faced by man calling himself Narcosis who claims he has a score to settle with the city, giving Batman another dose of the hallucinogen and departing.
