Somehow, Solomon Grundy has re-awoken in Slaughter Swamp, and goes on a rampage, killing numerous people including ranger and guide Karin Rykel, a descendant of a woman who betrayed him in his mortal form. Batman helps to fight him off for the time being, but the death-toll is still high.
