PLOT:
Simon stands presented with three distinct options before him each represented by a different colored door. Should Simon choose the black door, he would be joining the Geo-Populus as Governor Moss's field commander. The red door would save Gotham City from the Plague ravaging it, but every citizen in the Village would be killed. If he chose the white door, the opposite would be true - Gotham would be left to die but the Village would be saved. Simon briefly considers which door to choose.

While weighing his options, Simon's far-seeing capabilities take him and show him his friends' fates - Rachel tied up and infected and Tom, stuck in a torture chamber deep within the Mansion. As all seems lost, Simon looks within the mind of his 'twin' and finds that the choice is much easier than Moss presented him with. Deep within Moss's mind Simon finds that he has been gifted with a power great enough to overcome all the odds and save both Gotham and the Village.

Using that power, he vanquishes his 'twin' and steps into the White Door, falling into an abyss of demon creatures waiting to feast upon him. But as Simon falls towards the darkness it senses the inherent good and white light implanted within him at his birth. Using every bit of energy conjured up by the ceremony, the darkness actually rejects Simon and spits him back up into reality. Once again outside the chamber, Simon reaches into his chest cavity and procures a key long hidden by his creator in one of his many paper-back copies of Moby Dick. Simon uses the key to seal Cosimo Leto's Masterpiece for all eternity and stop the summoning. Outside, the Geo-Populus members burst into flames. Simon frees Tom and they leave the Mansion alongside Gaius and Suzy.

Back at the Dodd's residence, an infected Rachel finally breaks free of her bonds and attacks Vincent, splitting him in two with a fire poker. Vincent crashes out the window and escapes leaving Rachel to turn her attention to her father and Dr. Granger. All across Gotham, a dark storm rises and the citizens begin transforming into horrific Mendo-Soap infected creatures. However when Simon achieves his victory over the darkness, the storm fades away and all the citizens (including Rachel) are released from the demon-infection.

With the Geo-Populus cult vanquished, Simon returns to his life at the burned out church with his new kitten and Rachel as the new Mayor of Gotham City.
