PLOT:
With all signs pointing to Batman being dead, a group of political terrorists decide to put into action a plan to kidnap a group of
privileged children in order to deliver a message to their capitalist parents. The Secret Six, one of the world's most dangerous mercenary groups, receives word of the group's plans as the terrorists attempt to fill out their ranks. But instead of accepting their offer, Secret Six members Bane and Catman decide that such a noble and worthy opponent as Batman deserves better than to have his city pilfered by lowlifes like these. So Out of respect for Batman (and in the interest of protecting innocent children), Catman, Bane, and Ragdoll head to Gotham City to thwart the terrorists plans.
But don't get confused - they're no heroes. And they don't want to be (they swear)! Though the term is admittedly quite loosely defined at times. Despite his supposedly coincidental
similar likeness, Thomas Blake can never seem to get past his obvious contempt for the arrogant "heroes" who hold their more efficient techniques with such low regard. Techniques which are on full display as the three kill and maim their way through the terrorist regime and rescue the children across Gotham.
They don't ask for money - well, except for maybe Ragdoll who (while dressed hilariously as the "He/She Wonder") makes a point to steal at least one antique from a family's home on the way out. Instead, Bane makes it clear to the families whose children he rescues that they are doing this in honor of the Bat. And if anyone should be thanked - it's him.
By the time Nightwing arrives, the Six are just finishing stomping out the last of the terrorists. But, like a white hat
sheriff just coming to town to save the day, Nightwing (of course) pays no respect to the Six instead admonishing them for their actions in a way. He turns around and gives them a few seconds to clear out or else he'll be forced to take them all down. Having already sufficiently paid their respects to a fallen opponent, the three opt not to challenge the pompous do-gooder. So they all pile back into the Cat-Mobile and depart Gotham City on way to meet back up with the rest of their team.
