PLOT:
Pursuing Kip Kettering's kidnappers, the wheel was shot off Tim Drake's skateboard, and he comes to just as people are thinking of checking his bag for I.D. It is discovered that the gangsters who kidnapped him also stole his computer - or so they thought, as they actually stole Buzz Cohen's machine. Investigating, Tim finds that Kip had been dabbling in on-line gambling and may have been kidnapped because of this. As Robin, he heads off to Gotham City, where he and Spoiler track down the owners of the site Kip frequented. Meanwhile, Oracle, Black Canary and Alfred investigate another suspect who may have framed Bruce Wayne for murder - Devlin Davenport, but he is soon cleared.

Kip tells his kidnappers that he didn't hack their site, as they think, but instead has been winning so frequently by counting the cards and successfully working out the odds on the last few cards. They don't believe him and are about to kill him, but he is rescued by Robin and Spoiler. When Tim gets back to Brentwood Academy he receives a 'phone call from his dad - he's broke and Tim will have to leave Brentwood.
