PLOT:
Tim and Barbara wait up in the clock tower while Gordon and Batman attempt to mend their friendship. After a long silent period, Gordon eventually addresses his complaints with Batman about the month
that Batman had disappeared. Gordon took umbrage with Batman's absence and the pretenders left behind. Gordon thought that perhaps Batman was laughing at his ineptitude as it seemed the rest of the world was.
Batman said that Gordon was the best cop he'd ever met and that there wasn't a person living that he respected more than Jim. Batman then decided that actions spoke much louder than words and took off his mask. Gordon turned his back and refused
to see Bruce's face. Gordon said that he could have discovered Batman's identity years ago if he wanted to - but that was never the point.
Batman says that he needs Gordon and his people. The two decide to reconvene the next day at sunset to formulate a plan.
