PLOT:
Batman tries to talk to Jim Gordon who only orders him away. Batman tells Jim that his "devil" (Two-Face) is not an ally worth trusting. But considering Jim no longer sees Batman as an ally worth trusting, the
Dark Knight's please fall on deaf ears.
Batman calls the rest of the Bat-Family to Gotham City. Azrael, Robin and Nightwing all converge on the clock tower and meet their new teammate - a woman with no name, trained by her father David Cain (the
assassin who trained Batman).
Before they can all get down to business, Bruce stops by and talks to the current Batgirl (who turns out to be the Huntress, Helena Bertinelli). He demands that she fall in line, but she refuses. She says she cannot. So Batman orders her out of his way. Knowing that she won't listen to him, Batman tells Nightwing that this is all part of his plan.
Back at the Clock Tower, Batman tells them all that if they are going to bring light back to Gotham City, they need to do it together. He gives the mute girl the Batgirl costume and then delivers everyone their orders. Robin will work with Batman in Robinson Park, Nightwing will take back Blackgate and Azrael is to hunt down Nicolas Scratch.
Revitalized and familiar with their orders, the Bat Family sets out to put right all of the wrongs of No Man's Land.
