The first was a bust - they found a laptop with a message to Batman. The same was found at the other locations. Mayor Hull ordered Akins to take down the Killer Clowns - a group of ex-Joker henchmen on the north side of town. Montoya and Allen got to the seller of the gun. He'd already been roughed up by Batman. They got the call to go after the Killer Clowns and realized it was just for show. They took down the clowns as the countdown hit zero. Joker's laugh rang out after a fake bang, and the clock began counting upwards. The camera reactivated three hours later showing a TV reporter hanging upside-down. Joker was soon arrested as he walked up to police headquarters.
