PLOT:
Cowering behind some rubble, his camera phone in his hands, Justin Hanover watches as his two clients prepare to face off. He wonders to himself just how he's going to spin this - hero vs. hero? What will the public think?

But the reality, as it so often is in public relations, is far from that simple. Mr. Mind, the Venusian Space-time Hyper-Fly who once feasted upon universes has taken up residency inside the brain of former Global Guardian Izumi Yasunari (aka Rising Sun). Working together as team, Keigo tackles the elderly inferno while the other young heroes are shrunk down to near bacteria size (thanks to some help from a trophy taken from their "Brain Drain" battle) and then launched via Lantern Boy's lantern into the tear duct of Rising Sun!

The next thing they know, Kim and Canary find themselves separated from Superbat somewhere inside Mr. Mind's chrysalis throne realm. His mind-altering toxins seeping into the air and causing them to face their worst nightmares! Luckily Heino arrives in time to save them and the three make their way towards Mr. Mind's personal cocoon.

But before they have a chance to give the Space Hyper-Fly what fore, Rising Sun's own subconscious takes over and sends a wave of fire through his entire body, essentially flash-frying himself and everything within him. Luckily the heroes are able to escape just in time.

Once outside of Rising Sun's cranium they find themselves greeted by the Justice League (or at least some lesser known heroes claiming to be the JLA) who scrape Rising Sun off the pavement and take him into custody.

With Rising Sun taken care of, the Super Young Team turns their attentions back towards their homeland and the mysterious crisis which plagues it so. Only, as it turns out, the severity of the situation was greatly exaggerated. Japan was hit hard no doubt, but no harder than any other country. Their paranoia and ego caused them to fabricate a need to hide themselves away. So what does Most Excellent Superbat do? What he always does, of course - he buys Japan!

This of course includes having Mr. Itami as his new personal servant (naturally). Re-constructing his homeland, Heino also takes time out to create for himself a state of the art micro-blogging system existing solely inside of his own neural pathways. He uses it to chronicle the team's rise after the Midway City battle.

Lantern Boy continues blasting foes on their global publicity tour. Keigo has built himself a life as one "grand gamble" in Las Vulgar alongside Doctor Dread. Shy Crazy Lolita Canary has opened up her own chain of retail stores (complete with open bar happy hours). And Shiny Happy Aquazon has finally come into her own. No longer needing to exist in the shadow of her father, she's cut all ties with him and become her own person.

The Super Young Team has not only grown into, but fully embraced and taken ownership of not only their destinies but their identities as well. And should any threat arise, these now Global champions will be there to meet it. So beware evil! Suspension of disbelief: off!
