PLOT:
Two months after their explosive conflict at Nanda Parbat, Bruce crosses paths with the Demon's Head once more. While investigating a crook calling himself "The Globe" who had stolen an expensive jeweled globe - Batman finds himself
face to face with Ra's. Displaying the receipt for the globe's initial purchase in the early 1900's, Ra's proves that he is in fact the rightful owner of the piece and reclaims his possession. Before disappearing into the night he tells Batman that he plans on relocating his
base of operations to Gotham.
Bruce theorizes that Ra's rash behavior may be the result of some lingering aspect of the White Ghost's personality yet still trying to impress his father. Either way, he seeks to put an end to the Demon's occupation of Gotham.
Through a little detective work, the Dark Knight tracks down and infiltrates their base of operations. Neutralizing all of the guards with knock out gas, Batman charges towards Ra's and takes him out of commission.
If death is unable to stop Ra's al Ghul, Batman must find a better way to stop his adversary. He concocts a false identity for Ra's and has him admitted into
Arkham under the name "Terry Gene Kase."
Per Batman's falsified medical records, the schizophrenic Kase is to be heavily medicated at all times causing slurred
speech and next to zero mobility. Guards are given a warning that the insane Mr. Kase may try to convince them that he is someone
else (perhaps
even the leader of an international cabal of assassins) but that it's all just the rantings of a delusional mind.
Perhaps now that he is a resident of Arkham Asylum, Ra's al Ghul has come to stay in Gotham after all.
