PLOT:
Batman and Robin meet a criminal called the Phantom with the power to levitate objects and walk through walls. The Phantom and two hoods successfully commit several robberies, but the Phantom acts to protect Batman and Robin from harm. Batman deduces that the Phantom is an alien trapped in this dimension by criminal scientist Carter Wede. The alien is forced to commit the robberies, so Wede will return him home. Batman defeats the crooks and returns the alien to his homeworld.

PLOT:
J’onn rescues a troubled ship which is menaced by a series of seemingly natural disasters. When the crew quits in fear, J’onn agrees to help the captain deliver some important cargo, functioning as a one-man crew. The ship continues to be plagued by trouble. J’onn exposes the source of the problem, when he finds a submarine captained by Jim Wilkes. Wilkes is responsible for the disasters in an attempt to gain a shipping contract he missed out on.
