PLOT:
Batman and Robin meet Dr. Coombs of the Gotham City Museum. Coombs is fascinated with a jackal head he has found in an ancient tomb. When a crook wearing the jackal head strikes, Batman believes that Coombs has gone mad. The jackal crook puts together a gang and eventually captures Batman. The Caped Crusader has figured out that the jackal is really Gibson, Coombs’ assistant. Batman escapes the trap and captures Gibson at the scene of his next robbery.

PLOT:
Crimes are being committed around town by animals. John Jones has been nearby each incident and prevented the animals from getting away with any money by using his martian powers.

Seeking to capture the criminal behind the thefts, Jones, as the Martian Manhunter, finds a strange truckload of elephants driven by the thief. Jones leads the elephants away from the crowds, and stops the crook’s gorillas by giving them parsley to eat. The crook is captured, but puzzled as to why his animals did not perform as trained.
