PLOT:
Batman uncovers a gang of pirates working in the harbor. The pirates steal ships’ cargo, then disappear. Batman traces the pirates to Mr. Conway, but Conway has been alerted to the Caped Crusaders presence and plans a trap. Batman escapes and with Robin’s help, he defeats the pirate gang uncovering their secret hide-out in the process.

PLOT:
Lee Travis is late for a lecture at a university. As he runs to make the appointment, he is picked up by security who are looking for a thief. Once he is cleared of the charges, Lee spots some men disguised as students. He dons his Crimson Avenger costume and follows them. The men are thieves using the disguises to blend in until the police leave. The Avenger apprehends the men, recovers the stolen money, and leaves them for the police to pick up.
NOTE:
The Crimson Avenger no longer wears a cape as of this story.

Slam is invited to the circus to help solve a series of safe robberies. While watching the show, Slam stops a lion that got loose. Then Tito the clown is found murdered. Slam and Shorty investigate and discover that Samson the strong man and Tiny Tom, a midget, are behind the safe robberies. They also discover that circus owner Mr. Blane killed Tito because the clown was a part owner in the circus and Blane wanted his share.
