PLOT:
The villainous Doctor Death fears that will interfere with his planned extortion scheme, so he lays a trap for the Caped Crusader. When Batman arrives, gunmen shoot him in the arm, but he is able to escape.
Later, Bruce Wayne sees Doctor Death’s assistant, Jabah, attempt to kill a man. Bruce saves the man’s life and follows Jabah. He return later that night as the Batman and confronts the doctor. In the battle, Dr. Death apparently is killed in a fiery explosion. Batman exits before the building collapses around him.

PLOT:
After receiving ransom money, a group of kidnappers returns their victim, McNeal, to his home. McNeal describes to police the sounds he heard while held captive. The Crimson Avenger decides to use these clues to find the kidnappers.
The Crimson tracks the crooks to a farmhouse outside of town. The crooks set fire to the house to cover their escape. Wing helps his boss escape the burning house. The Crimson then chases down and apprehends the kidnappers.

PLOT:
Slam and Shorty receive a message warning them to stay away from Hawaii. Taking it as a challenge Slam travels to Hawaii, where he is contacted by Betty Clark, the woman who sent the message. Betty explains that her uncle has disappeared, and she lured Slam to Hawaii to investigate.
Betty and her uncle's partner Hiaroto are soon kidnapped. Slam follows the trail of Chang and is eventually led to Betty and her uncle. Hiaroto reveals himself as the kidnapper. He and Chang are agents of a foreign power with orders to create native revolts. Slam helps rescue Betty and her uncle and foil Hiaroto's plot.
