PLOT:
When the Bagilan Ruby is stolen, police suspect the gem's owner Lara Fay. Ms. Fay visits the office of Lee Travis claiming the ruby was stolen by a man in a turban. Then thugs break into the office and kidnap Fay and Travis's secretary Miss Blaine. Travis tries to follow them, but he fails.
That evening, Lee searches Fay's apartment as the Crimson Avenger. When Fay turns up unharmed, he begins following her. She leads him to Miss Blaine, but the Crimson is caught by the bandits. Fay is working with the crooks and leaves a snake to finish off the pair. The Crimson turns the snake against his captors, then he flees as police arrive to arrest the men.

The Whitethorne Inheritance

PLOT:
Slam Bradley is summoned to the home of the late Caleb Whitethorne for the reading of a will. Slam is named the sole heir to Whitethorne's estate providing he survives a night in the house with Whitethorne's family. Several attempts are made to murder Slam and Shorty. Caleb's sister Sadie is killed by an unknown assailant. Slam eventually proves that Caleb's son Ronald killed poisoned his own father, murdered Sadie to silence her, and was attempting to kill Slam. Following his success at catching the killer, Slam donates the inheritance to charity.
