PLOT:
Czar Nikolai III is prepared to celebrate the birth of his long anticipated son, Alex. When the doctor emerges with the child however, Nikolai is aghast to see that his son with multiple birth defects causing the entire left side of his body to be deformed. The Czar prepares to toss his mutant child into the fire and rid the world of his abomination when his wife steps in and saves her son.

The son would grow up and become a genius, able to manipulate metal and build robots to serve his every will. His father is still unimpressed and after an altercation between his two parents, Alex is sent to live in the United States of Angor. There he proceeds to master the craft of robotics and is able to create a form of metal that morphs to whatever shape, filling in the pieces of his deformed body.

After one of his experiments goes haywire and attacks a xenophobic colleague, Alex receives word that his father killed his mother in a fit of rage. Alex returns home for his mother's funeral where he finally uses his metamorphic metals to become Lord Havok and murders his father. He then triggers devices placed around the border of Russia that kill all citizens who are unable (or unwilling) to leave the mother country within 24 hours. After that, the entire country of Russia is annihilated (as referenced in issue one).

Back in the present in Slovekia, Lord Havok waits patiently in his sealed lab while Monarch and Americommando's armies storm the palace. Blue Jay (n Raven armor) arrives to help the Extremists battle his former friend, the adulterer Americommando. Despite all of this, eventually Americommando is able to fulfill his part of the bargain with Monarch and capture all of the Extremists - that is, of course, for Havok.

When the doors to Havok's lab are pried open they find Havok sitting in an empty room all by himself. Monarch and Americommando's armies step inside to get a closer look, and Havok impales the seemingly invincible Herr Superman through the heart. The doors close and everyone is trapped inside the seemingly innocuous lab.

Havok reveals that the lab was specially built to strip all metas of their powers except the Extremists once they were inside the room. The Extremists decimate the remaining members of the opposing army and debate on what to do with Americommando. Blue Jay steps forward and says that Americommando should stand trial for his crimes against humanity. Havok obliges and also says that he will allow Blue Jay to assume the role of leader of Angor as long as he keeps his promise to turn things around in the wayward country. Havok then shakes hands with Monarch and says that he will actually accept Monarch's offer to join his army to battle the Monitors.

Weeks later, Havok's true plans come to fruition. It turns out that while Havok was a member of Monarch's multiversal army he was also slowly siphoning off bits of Monarch's power. He uses this stolen energy during the Battle on Earth 51 to teleport himself and the Extremists to safety before the explosion that would wipe out all of the universe.

Now in a base on the moon orbiting Angor, Lord Havok reveals the greatest benefit of his time with Monarch - knowledge of the Multiverse! Havok gathers his Extremists and prepares his assault on the entire multiverse!
