The Suicide Squad tries to capture Piper and Trickster who are stopped at a roadside diner. They capture Double Down but the pair avoids capture. Trickster thinks they should follow the Squad to see where they are taking all the villains they are rounding up.

Brother Eye plans on holding Karate Kid and the others with him hostage but Buddy Blank's grandson befriends the Eye which convinces it to try and earn human friendship. It tells Karate Kid to go to Bludhaven where virus strains similar to his are being held.

Mary Marvel has traveled to Nepal and is shrinking rhino poachers to make them targets of the rhinos. Later in the Amazon rainforest she turns the loggers into trees. This is all being observed by Shadowpact and Madame Xanadu who decide it is time to bring Mary in.

The Challengers are caught in a fight between themselves, Monarch, Lord Havok and the Extremists, and the Crime Society. Lord Havok has refused Monarch's offer to join him. Donna Troy is severely injured by Forerunner.
