PLOT:
Before he became Arkham Asylum's inmate number 002, Geoff Shancoe was a great detective. So great in fact that his former partner (now paralyzed after being shot in the spine by Geoff) pays a special visit to Arkham Asylum to let Geoff know that his notes actually helped solve a cold case. But all of that was before Geoff Shancoe was manipulated by the Joker and pushed over the edge into being a murderer. But the Joker isn't finished manipulating Shancoe just yet. The clown pushes Shancoe further into madness before showing him a secret tunnel out of the Asylum which he takes.

Shancoe heads back out into the world - a world that is drawing even darker with every passing day. Commissioner Gordon is just lamenting the discovery of a new nutjob by the name of Ventriloquist when he receives word that Shancoe has escaped. It would seem as though Shancoe is bent on sending a message to his wife on the other side by sending souls her way. Donning riot gear and a gun, Shancoe heads towards the Gotham Police Academy.

Taking a break from his alternate life as the thoughtless playboy Bruce Wayne, Batman heads towards the academy where new recruit Renee Montoya is going head to head with the demented 'Bad Cop' - Geoff Shancoe!
