Batman flushes out Fat Man and Little Boy, the newcomers to Gotham, and finds that they are a match for him. He is determined to find Angel Lupo before they do, but neither police sources nor the underworld seem to have much luck. Eventually he encounters Killer Croc, who may well know something about the matter, and comes under fire from Margo Farr, a woman he had previously thought to be innocent of the affair. Perhaps Angel Lupo did not run from him because he was guilty, but from someone else who was going to kill him?
