PLOT:
John Wilker, Bat-Hound’s owner, gives Ace to Bruce Wayne permanently since he will be traveling. When Batman and Robin are trapped in a cave-in, they call Ace. Bat-Hound finds Batwoman and together they rescue the Dynamic Duo. Then Ace helps stop Mr. Midas, a thief, from escaping.

NOTE:
Ace comes to live permanently at Wayne Manor.

TITLE: The Last Days of Batman

PLOT:
Batman and Robin travel back in time to gather evidence concerning a phony painting. When Professor Nichols returns them to the present, Robin ends up three days in the future. Before the Professor can bring him back, Robin sees a newspaper article about Batman’s death.

Upon his return, Robin tries his best to keep Batman from fighting a crook, El Bolo, who according to the article, kills Batman. Robin’s plan fails, and Batman is apparently killed just as the article said. However, it was only a dummy used to trick the crook. The real Batman survives and defeats El Bolo.

TITLE: King Batman the First

PLOT:
While chasing a crook, Batman and Robin are transported to another dimension. Batman learns that a man there, Rakk, is fixing an athletic competition, so he enters the contest himself. When he defeats Rakk, Batman is crowned King of Plaxius and removes his mask.

Gurney, the fleeing crook, is also in Plaxius. He tells Rakk of Batman’s origins, which allows Batman to be dethroned. The Caped Crusader is then imprisoned, but Selina, the girlfriend of the local champion, Vol, frees him. Together they rescue Vol and defeat Rakk. Batman returns to Earth with Gurney who knows Batman’s secret identity. However, upon their return, all memories of the experience in the other dimension are lost.
