PLOT:
Vicki Vale begins a series of magazine photo segments focusing on various law enforcement groups. When she decides to cover Batman's exploits, she gets in contact with the Caped Crusader. Vicki joins Batman as he rescues a man from three thugs.

The man, Tom Macon, explains that he was paid off by Stilts Tyler. Macon spent ten years in jail for Tyler after confessing to a crime he didn't commit. In prison, Macon discovered he was going to die of a heart condition. Now that he has been released, Tyler wants to take his money back. Before Macon dies, he tells Batman where the money is located.

Stilts captures Batman to learn the location of the money. Batman won't talk, then he escapes. Tyler follows Batman to the hidden money. Batman then captures Tyler and his gang. Vicki captures the action on film for her magazine.

TITLE: The Return of Two-Face

PLOT:
Harvey Dent begins having dreams that he has become Two-Face again. When Batman encounters does encounter Two-Face, he visits Dent who begins having a nervous breakdown. Dent flees the scene, leaving Batman to believe his old foe has returned to crime.

After Batman battles Two-Face a second time, he discovers that the crook's coin is damaged on both sides. Batman suspects the crook is not really Dent. His theory proves correct as he finds the real Dent held prisoner. Batman exposes Dent's butler Wilkins as the real crook, who was trying to frame his boss.

NOTE:
Harvey's last name is changed from Kent to Dent beginning in this story. Also, Harvey's marriage to Gilda is revealed in this story.

TITLE: The Second Boy Wonder

PLOT:
Robin discovers that Batman has been secretly training another boy named Jimmy in the Bat-Cave. Robin believes that Batman is planning to replace him. He follows Batman and Jimmy as they battle a gang of crooks.

Later, he tells Batman that he saw Jimmy. Batman has him deliver a Robin costume to Jimmy's house where Robin learns that Jimmy is blind. Both Batman and Robin are captured by crooks, but Robin leaves a clue for Jimmy to find them.

After Jimmy helps the Dynamic Duo escape and the crooks are captured, Batman explains that he was training Jimmy in criminology. He didn't tell Robin because he planned to make it a final test for Jimmy. Batman never had any intention of replacing Robin.
