PLOT:
The Joker has again survived and joins up with a gang of smugglers. Together they start a criminal operation aboard a gambling ship. Bruce Wayne boards the ship in search of clues. When the Joker discovers Bruce watching, the crook throws Bruce overboard.

Bruce survives and returns with Robin. Together they break-up the gang which is done in when Joker double-crosses his own partners. Joker again appears to die when Robin hurls him into the water from atop a lighthouse.

NOTE:
The Batmobile is first shown with the classic Bat-Head on the front.

PLOT:
Batman and Robin are sent to Fairyland by an inventor who has created a machine that can transport people into stories from books. The Dynamic Duo meet a variety of fictional characters in their travels through the world, while they search for the inventor’s daughter, Enid. They locate the girl, who has been taken prisoner by the Black Witch, Gruel. Batman and Robin defeat Gruel and her minions and return to the real world before they have remained too long, forcing them to become permanent residents of Fairyland.

TITLE: The Case of the Honest Crook

PLOT:
Batman stops a small-time thief, Joe Sands and learns that Joe was framed from a drunk driving accident by a gangster, Matty Link. Batman confronts Matty’s boss, Smiley Sikes, to get information about the case. Sikes kills Link to make sure the hood doesn’t talk, so Batman sends Robin to gather evidence.

Sikes’ mob catch Robin and beat him almost to death. An angered Batman, breaks up the mob surviving three gunshot wounds in the process. Sands is cleared and both members of the Dynamic Duo survive thanks to a friendly doctor.

TITLE: Crime Does Not Pay

PLOT:
Batman and Robin follow the trail of two bank robbers, but the crooks escape. Batman returns to the crime scene as Bruce Wayne and spots the crooks without their masks. He learns that one is Mike Grogan, a gangster, and the other is Tommy, Mike’s brother.

Tommy is shot during the next robbery, so the crooks kidnap Linda Page, a nurse, to help. Batman follows Linda’s trail in time to save her. Mike is shot and killed by his own gang. Tommy summons the police and is later pardoned and released.
