PLOT:
Marty Steele has set many speed records throughout his life. Now that he is older, he sponsors a race across the country by land, sea, and air. Batman and Robin decide to use the race to test new equipment, thought they don't officially enter. George Kale, the president of Lightning Motors, hires men to sabotage the other contestants, allowing his niece to win. Batman helps the stricken drivers and stops the saboteurs. A masked contestant, who turns out to be Marty Steele, wins the race. He awards the money to the second place finisher, a blind man, Roy Damon.

PLOT:
Ally Babble has his fortune read from tea leaves by Madame Patio. Believing the fortune will come true Ally allows the leaves to blow in the wind to lead him to his destiny. The first leaf brings him fortune, when he comes across a trolley robbery. He creates a commotion which attracts Batman, who stops the crime.
Next Ally finds love, but the girl is ugly and Ally doesn't like her. Then he interrupts a radium robbery, once again bringing him to the attention of Batman. His final fortune is to make his friends happy. This is completed when he loses his voice, making everyone around grateful.
