Did Terry ever told his mom that he is/was Batman?

wow, that is some bad english...and yeah he did; when there was a tv special about the identity of batman with the invisible dude. but his mom and his brother just started laughing. and batman stopped the invisible guy, and the tv special about his identity was never aired.
awesome episode actually.

Yeah that was a good one. I always wondered if Terry's little brother would ever become Robin Beyond

haha, i've always wondered that. they should make a batman beyond dtv explaining the future of terry and his family and friends. i could see max being oracle and matt being robin. and maybe zeta could be the new alfred.
but if they just leave it as it is, it might be for the best. i think we can all agree we want the middle aged bruce wayne to remain batman.
batman beyond was just a cool "what if" story. a very cool one.

A solitary word in the past tense - that's a bit harsh Phil!

Yeah I just checked, the JLU season 2 finale called "Epilogue" gives a rare glimpse back at the world of Batman Beyond. Its been awhile since Ive seen it but it was entertaining. If I remember right, I think it was sort of a sell out the way the described things from BB, I think Timm and gang just did it because they never got the chance to finish BB. Is it the way they intended the show to turn out? Doubt it, but who knows. Try to catch the episode if you can

Spoilers for the episode Risk mentioned in this post.
Actually, at the end of Beyond they had intended to do a second movie, which would reveal Catwoman had implanted Bruce's genes into Terry's father, making Bruce his biological father.
The movie never got off the ground so the idea was shelved until JLU, when they were looking at the season finally possibly being the series finally, so they decided to end the DCAU with Batman Beyond, as it's chronologically the last point in the universe.. They brought back the story, but instead of Catwoman it was Cadmus (so they could tie it to JLU).
Never start with the head; the victim gets all fuzzy!

2 interesting points
1. In Epilogue, Amanda Waller had Terry's father's DNA re-written with Bruce Wayne's DNA. If this is true, then the little brother Terry had was Bruce Wayne's biological son as well.
2. When Terry McGinness was born shown in "Epilogue", it showed the happy couple holding the baby which looked nothing like Terry's dad (the one that raised him). I wonder is that what eventually led to the divorce? I know if me and my wife had a baby and she had red hair and mine was blond, but the baby had brunette hair...I would suspect my wife of cheating...which would probably have led to a divorce (if it were me).
Surely he must've thought something wasn't right.
You know what they say, mommy's baby, daddy's maybe.
