Here a new line of figures based off the amazing art of Michael Turner!

http://www.dccomi...N+FIGURES

The Batman and Superman figures are about the only ones I think I'm going for. Darksied is a really good looking figure though, Supergirl looks slightly off to me. The Corrupted Supergirl is kind of a waste to me, I think they should've made a Wonder Woman instead.

Supergirl looks way off. She looks strung out or something, those eyes look odd.
Batman and Superman look normal, but what's with that flying thing Batman has?

At some point the Batman Variants start to make sense.

DC Direct has released 3 Batman figures in the last few months that fro the most part look the same. The Black/Gray Retro Bat Logo is fine, but why so many figures that are almost the same? It?s starting to get a bit boring.

Now, I?m not saying they have to start making Batman Variants like Mattel does, that would be wrong, but there needs to be some changes. The sculpts are similar, the articulation is the same.

Rather than see yet ANOTHER Batman and Superman, I think we need some other figures like Bruce Wayne and Clark Kent in suits or something. Alfred as a medic with a battle damaged Batman. Thomas and Martha Wayne with a young Bruce box set would be nice too.

Huh. I forgot to post about this line. Maybe because it's kinda crappy looking.

This gadget-toting figure actually makes sense. He used that to get around on Apocalypse when him and Superman were on their way to rescue Supergirl. I can't stand that sculpt though, as I've said before. It's friggin' miserable.

That Supergirl does look crappy, not sure why. Her face looks like it was made out of clay, and not painted real cleanly. Whoever sculpted these things needs a baseball bat to the back.

Yeah, I always did think that that figure looks like Michael Turner's Batman a bit. I suppose the next set in this line will be based off "Absolute Power".
