According to TV Shows on DVD, the 1990 Flash tv series will be coming to DVD. The complete series, 22 episodes, will be released. Click the link above for the full article.
This is great news. It features two episodes with Mark Hamil as the Trickster, which inspired his characterization of the Joker in Batman: TAS. All in all this was a really fun show that was entirely too short lived.

Just thought you guys would be interested in knowing that the DVD came out Tuesday. Best Buy has an exclusive comic included and $5 off the set for Reward Zone Members. I picked it up, but I have not had time to watch an episode.

My dad bought it and has already watched the whole thing. I haven't had time to watch it yet but I'm really excited because all I've seen from it is the Pilot movie and the Trickster episodes.
Marge: Homer, I've got someone here who can help!
Homer: Batman?
Marge: No, a scientist!
Homer: Batman's a scientist.

He's actually the reason I am. Infact, I still remember the first time I watched the Flash pilot with him when he rented it.

Yea so maybe some of you might not have noticed but I made a thread asking if anyone remembered this show along with the live action Superboy tv series (funny how just a month later they release it out on dvd and soon to be superboy as well!) and now that its out...What do you guys think?!!! Cuz I know it was worth buying!

I think it is.. It was a great series.
In fact, you can buy it in our store: http://www.batmanytb.com/store/shop.php?c=FDVDs&n=130&i=B000BPL2EM&x=The_Flash_The_Complete_Series
Some nice reviews on that page too.
It was to bad it only lasted 1 season.

I loved this show too, I would watch it every Thursday night when I came home from work...the reason I believe it didn't last too long was that when people heard The Flash was going to be on TV they expected a show like Batman from the sixties and were disappointed when it actually came across as a serious show
