You're not the only one to feel that way. But due to the embargo, it'll never happen. |

I don't think it's just the embargo, it's probably just common sense that Wayne would be off somewhere training to become Batman. I don't think he would have any time, nor any point (unless for his company) to go to Smallville. I for one don't really care if Batman (Bruce Wayne) appears on the show. Wonder Woman is free, and that's who I want to see. I mean they did mention her mother on a newspaper, y'know?
You don't get it, boy... this isn't a mudhole... it's an operating table.

Atually.. it is just the Embargo, Miller and Gough want Bruce on there.
As for Wonder Woman. If she was free, she would have been on there. There is some kind of clause stating that Wonder Woman can not be a "guest star" thats why she was never on Superman: TAS. When JL premired, she was able to be on it because she was features as a main cast member.
As for a Bruce Waybe tyoe show.. go here: http://www.batmanytb.com//tv/brucewayne

The problem with a Nightwing series, or movie (there has been buzz about one) is that There woul dbe no Nightwing without Batman. Period. Sure you could get around it for awhile, but bottom line is, it wouldn't last long.

The problem with a "Smallville" Batman show is simple. Batman's villain's are one of the primary draws... If he's 18 years old, how the hell will he fight people who don't become criminals til he's in his 30s?
The problem with a Batman series in general, is budget. WB just can't do it... That's probably why BOP got canceled so quickly.
HOWEVER, for a young Bruce Wayne to travel to Smallville (maybe for Luthorcorp/Waynetech deal, or an interest in all the supervillians?) would probably work.

BOP = Birds of Pray
It was a short lived T.V. series on the WB following a loose interpretation of the comic book series of the same name. It was canceled after one season and I've only ever been able to see clips of it on Youtube, but from what I've seen it didn't exactly have Battlestar Galactica level production.
Anywho, no news on JL, and we'll post it in the JL news thread if it comes.

Hey man, don't worry about it... If you have a typo you can click the EDIT button on your post to go in and fix it.
The Joker marketing is the overall term for The Dark Knight's marketing thus far. If you've noticed, the trailers, the posters, and most of the photos so far have been centered on Joker.
If you want to discuss TDKs marketing, or anything TDK related, you can head on down to the "current 'Dark Knight' news and updates" thread.
As for spin offs, I believe they toyed with the idea of an Aquaman series but it, like the Batman one, never got off the ground. Other than that I don't think they've had any project's like that in development.

There was a Smallville comic, but it didn't sell to well..
The only reason that the Aquaman series didn't get picked up is because of the merger between UPN and CW.
