Black Canary!
It was revealed on yesterday's Comics Continuum and in turn on Kryptonsite that the blonde bombshell will appear in the January episode, and the 11th episode of this season, called Siren. It will also feature Green Arrow returning to the show, and it will air one week after the episode Persona, which will be the return of Brainiac to the show.
In the Kryptonsite article; while little is known on either the plot of the episode or even the Smallville version of the character, one thing that might be certain is that she might be wearing her trademark fishnets!

It's neat.. BUT... they are screwing with the mythos.. Arrow is way older, in fact, Dinah should be I'd say about 8? But, it'll still be coll to see her and Arrow together..

Chris, when has Smallville NOT screwed the mythos for the show? At the time when it first aired, Lex and CLark were not friends (pre-Birthright/OYL), and Clark never met any other superheores that would be connected to the teams he will join or encounter later (not counting LoSH), and Clark never joined a pre-Justice League. And that's naming only a few.

Comics Continuum has revealed today (11-1) that Alaina Huffman will play Black Canary. Her previous comic book role was in Painkiller Jane.

Kryptonsite posted spoilers on what to expect from the episode "Siren" that introduces Black Canary and brings back Green Arrow.
- Black Canary will be wearing fishnets.
- Black Canary will be a vigilante working for Lex Luthor.
- The JL have been thwarting every one of Lex's plans by now.
- Lex tells BC that if she brings Green Arrow, he will make it worth her while.
- Green Arrow and Black Canary won't be romantic partners yet. Al gough told TV Guide that "It’s the very beginning of their relationship. At the end of the episode, you clearly see that they have some sparks."
