Then I apologise, my bad. But you see digimon (in my opinion) wasn't all that great. In fact, it begs the question of why it was made into more than one series. seriously, how many people stopped watching after the end of the first series. as for a film, if its anything like the last one they did, count me out.
Okay the story for pokemon is iffy ,but compared to a sentient computer 'world' that mirrors our own.....rats, matrix.
next, the only people who have anime porn are preverts...and if there taking it to school thats just bad. really bad!::thebatman2::

Honestly, I didn't think it was...but then i did make a mistake about digimon. Although TT is owned ny DC, so if they did make it an anime (i.e: from japan) than that would mean giving someone else the rights, which I doubt. As for jap songs in something american...never heard of it. but they did do rammstein in an episode of CSI, so anythings possible.
And once again, sorry about the digimon thing.:|

i dont think TT is an anime. because if it was anime, then it wud say BANDAI at the credits, not WB. besides...if TT was anime, then there wud be so much blood and cursing and what not. TT is just a one of a kind.

Well whether it's officially Anime or not, a lot of people would consider it to be. It's at least trying to be, that's for sure. The basic style elements are all there, so I don't care what's official, Teen Titans is definitely Anime to me.

I'm sorry, but I cannot agree. Anime has its own style, its own 'feeling', shall we say. The same is said about american animation/cartoons. Just because its done in the same style as anime, doesn't make it so. Then again, if you enjoy watching it, then it shouldn't matter where it came from, or who the company is.
Unless its Digimon....which is bad (sorry, must get off that subject).

as opposed to most American cartoons that are almost all made using flash
watch cowboy bebop, the animation in that show is some of the best work I have ever seen in any animated program from any country! (some of the smallest details are well animated, nothing is forgotten)

Well, you had a point *chews on Milk Dud*, I mean, all the ones I have seen seem to have about the same animation, just the newer ones look cleaner. I don't know too much about anime though, I'm more of an american cartoon person.

all the timmverse cartoons (btas, jlu, static shock, etc) are animated in japan or korea. so they could be classified as anime...but u could think otherwise.
when i see JLU, it reminds me of the animation in most animes. if u ever see the first JL episode, the animation looked real retro. but JLU took the darker anime-looking animation style. which was so kool. the explosions and everything were japanized.

Ha ha! Yeah, back when the Pok?mon craze was in full swing and my buddies and I were all into it, we used to ponder such pok?-plexities as that. I mean, you saw them eating burgers in loads of episodes...where did the meat come from? Was that a Taurus-burger?
On the subject of anim?, I never really got into it because in spite of what some people are saying on this thread, I find it doesn't take itself seriously enough and just insults itself. There's so much crap in the Pok?mon cartoon that was never in the game such as Jesse and James and Meowth being able to talk. In the game, I actually thought Team Rocket were pretty threatening and scary. Even in supposedly 'serious' anim? like Yu-Gi-Oh, it's all just fun and the only serious bits are voiced really badly. I can't really say I'm into anim? too be perfectly honest. That said, I still want to check out Street Fighter II: The Animated Movie. Looks pretty sweet.

It sounds like all the anime you've seen is the kind they dub in english and stick on Satruday morning blocks.
Pokemon and Yugioh are definately NOT good places to start with anime. There's so many different genres covered in Japanese animation. Much more than in American animation.
Romance, drama, crime dramas ala Law and Order, random ass comedies, kid stuff like Pokemon, even a few super hero ones (very different from our super heroes) and of course adventures stuff etc.
Pokemon and Yugioh are marketing tie ins, Pokemon is first and foremost a video game series and the anime is just a marketing tie in to the games. Yugioh is the card game, and the show is just a crappy anime made to cash in on the success of the card game.
There's plenty of other shows and movies that do ttake themselves very seriously. You can find almost anything has been animated in Japan. They use animation as a mdeium as opposed to a genre (as its often treated in America)

thats the best one ever! i have all the animated street fighter stuff ever. street fighter 2 v was ok, but it was nothing like street fighter. street fighter alpha was just plain weird and dragonball-like, and street fighter alpha generations was too short. but yeahh...street fighter 2: the animated movie is the best portrayal of street fighter.
