Joker Armored Truck
Here is a concept I did by customizing a 1972 Mego SWAT van. First I dremeled off the swat logo on the side and sanded it to give a smoother finish. Then I arranged decals along the sides & top giveng it that armored car look. Next I primed the whole thing with flat black followed by a coat of sliver. Because the silver was way to bright, I washed the whole thing down with black shoe polish. From there I made a stencil to outline and paint the tent for the sides. Then with a permant marker I drew out the rollercoaster and etc. LIke the hotwheels version I airbrushed Joker on the side giving it that final touch (with help from my boy John Ray).

That is really cool. I've been meaning to start up a thread and see if anyone has noticed any vehicles or playsets that would be compatible with the current 6" scale figures. It look like Mego stuff has a good chance of working.

Those are some great action shots.

I looked this thread back up . . .
I am going to paint up one of the Ertl Step Vans (like the purple/pink Joker van toy from the 1989 film). I am using a general one I got from ebay, actually one of several recently "won."

Heck, some black vinyl "pinstriping" and a HUGE amount of time . . .
One could even convert a 1:1 silver Scion xB onto a clone!
