Guys, our 12 inch Christopher Reeve Superman is finally completed. The head, boots and belt buckle are sculpted by my USA partner while I take care of the rest. Hope u guys will like 'him' too. Pls give us your precious comments, thanks!!!

Once again, very nice, Bat_Knight. But I would definitely give him his bright blue eyes; Routh's brown eyes were one of the main aspects that bothered me in bridging the character to the new movie, and I think you'd be surprised at the difference it would make. The facial sculpt isn't bad, but there's something off about it that I can't put my finger on. Maybe it's slightly too puffy or old looking, and the hair may be slightly too thick... Of course, realistic likenesses can be incredibly tough, and I think this one's pretty well done (minus the dark brown eyes).
Other than the dark eyes, you've got an excellent custom here.
...Wait. Is that a camel toe? :p

I agree with Cale; it looks great, if a tad older than Reeve did as Superman. As long as you're going to repaint the eyes, may I also suggest a slightly darker shade for the hair? I think that will help make it "shrink" a little, plus it will fit the iconic look a little more. Excellent work, though - no doubt who he is. |
