MY POV
I had no idea what time it was. I was basically half asleep...if you could call it that. I didn't want to wake up because I knew if I did the sun would be in my eyes. And then that would mean I'd have to get up. I don't even think I knew what day it was...to be honest. I opened my eyes slightly just to see if it was dark out still.
When I finally opened my eyes, it was dark out, much like a dark gray. It was raining. Rain hit the windows of the apartment. Splattering against it. I then sat up on my elbows and looked at the alarm clock, it was ten after Nine in the morning. And according to the small calender on the upper right hand corner of the alarm clock...today was Saturday.
Wonderful.
I heard the toilet in the bathroom flush. I laid back down after a moment or so as the light in the bathroom turned off, casting the room into a small darkness. I felt a hand gently run down my shoulder and then my arm. I rolled over and looked up into a pair of blue eyes. Oswald smirked at me, gently brushing my dark red hair out of my face.
I smiled up at him. I reached up and touched the side of his face. Letting my palm lay against his cheek. His blue eyes grinned back at me. He took my hand in his, kissing the palm of my hand then trailing down my wrist. I smile even more as his lips lightly touch mine a second later....
.... Time Jump ....
The rain hasn't let up. I pour myself a cup of coffee. The little clock says it's about Noon. I guess this is what I get for sleeping in. I'm wearing a pair of black pants and a navy long sleeved shirt. I left my hair down also. I guess I do feel lazy. I look over my shoulder at Oswald, who is watching the news.
There's nothing new...except the Joker is still on the loose. But that's no surprise to us. I put my cup of coffee down on the kitchen counter. I haven't cleaned the apartment in three days. Not that it doesn't need cleaning, not really, but it could use a once over once a while. I go over and sit on Oswald's lap.
He puts his right arm around my waist, while his left hand rests on my knee. I watch the ticker at the bottom of the screen of the TV. Gas prices have gone up....some Hollywood star got a divorce and Wayne Enterprises gives another charity fundraiser. Fantastic. I rest my head against Oswald. Now I have a headache...nothing new...lack of caffeine and the way the weather was, I'm quite used to it.
I have to use the bathroom ten minutes later...much to the fact that I was getting comfortable where I was. After I come back, I find my coffee hasn't cold, so I pour it down the sink. I'm actually quite aware that both of us are staying in today because of the weather. I got back to sitting on Ozzy's lap and start to nod off.
My stomach growls after a few moments...I haven't eaten anything today. I ignore it. I'm not in the mood to get up again. I just don't feel like it. After about twenty minutes....I finally begrudgingly get up and make myself some toast. Ozzy's gone and fallen asleep on the couch. I hurriedly stuff a piece of toast into my mouth and wash it down with some soy milk.
Feeling slightly better. I go over and curl up with him, resting my head against his chest.
... Time Jump ...
It's about six in the evening when Ozzy and I finally decide to call to get some take out. Luckily some places in Gotham deliver. I let Ozzy decide what to get. I eat anything he does anyway. I flip through the TV stations but there's nothing on. So we watch the news some more.
Our Chinese food comes about twenty five minutes later. Ozzy and I share meals, so we eat within fifteen minutes. I don't feel good about half an hour later. Turns out...my stomach couldn't handle the egg noodles like I thought it would.
I go to bed early because I don't feel good. It's about nine O'clock when Ozzy finally comes to bed. I wake up out of a sound sleep as he wraps his arms around me. Kissing me good night on the cheek. I smile to myself as the rain outside finally stops.
