Do u Think babs should be batgirl or cass? i think babs cause the new cass bat suit is really freaky, wit the stitched mouth and stuff..::batgirl::

I don't like the stitched mouth on the suit. It just looked silly. Coudn't they have made something better? I really don't have a Batgirl preference. Both can do really well in a story even though they are very different characters. If it means Barbara quitting Oracle though, I prefer that Cassie be Batgirl.

I much prefer Cassie as Barbara. The reason for the stitching over the mouth is to signify how Cassie was unable to speak for a large part of her life. I think Cassandra Cane is Batman's coolest sidekick and they should explore her more. All of Batman's other sidekicks are outdated and unrealistic, IMO.

I liked Barbara, but I like her more as Oracle.
Cassandra is pretty kick ass, unlike Robin I enjoy seeing this second Batgirl appear beside Batman every now and then. Her outfit was a little creepy looking, but I've grown to like the covered face, unlike alot of female super heroes they don't overemphasize her body and her being a female. Her midriff isn't exposed, you can't even see her hair! It's refreshing.
She's pretty cool, but it did take some getting used to her.

Just recently in her last issues, Cass' mask didn't have those stitches and showed her eyes and mouth.
Better.
It ddin't for me though...

The stitched-on face mask was done by the Huntress when she wore the costume during NML, to prevent Batman from recognizing her. Once a Batman-approved person took over the role of Batgirl, it no longer made sense. I like having a full-face mask, but it shouldn't have looked so thrown-together after Cassie took over.
Anyway, Barbara Gordon is far more effective as Oracle than she ever was as Batgirl. Anyway, Cassie isn't Batgirl either, not anymore. But I would prefer Cassie, given the choice.

I like Barbara better, I like the hair and I also prefer her costume over Cassie's. Though, I have not read much with Cassie, maybe one day I'll change my mind.

i think she looks dumb with no stitches cuz you can not see her hair and to me she looks darker with the coverings

I am a HUGE Batgirl fan until Cass took over the role, I dont like her at all, I dont like her costume, I hate the idea of her mouth, eyes n hair being covered.
I want Barbara back as Batgirl, she rocked as Batgirl, I believe that a new comic series with Bab's as Batgirl could do so well. They can still make the series dark & serious coz thats the way I like it. They can give Bab's a Black Batgirl outfit like seen in a few past comics years back.
I did love the story The Killing Joke BUT it neva clicked to me that Bab's would NEVA be Batgirl again, I thought it might of been a one off comic book series or wat eva & then u know like always with alot of characters u see them in a different comic line totally fine & what eva happened to them in another comic neva happened to them in the new series. Or y not FINALLY let them cure Babs spine? Its Batman people, he has made cures for so many things, Theres gotta b a cure for a spinal problem.
Bring BACK Bab's as Batgirl & let her b dark & serious & in the traditional BLACK outfit with her face & eyes & hair showing.Just like in the Birds Of Prey TV series, Bab's & Batgirl in that were so dark & serious & kicked butt & the Batgirl costume was nearly perfect as.
Im so excited bout the NEW BATWOMAN being released !!!!

cassie is cool, but shes been going crazy latley. she killed her own dad, and wants robin to join her and kill batman. EEK!!! i dont blame her, but now theres no batgirl.

Barbara Gordon will always be the perennial Batgirl, but since The Joker shot her and she became Oracle she has taken on a new and more important role in Batman?s world.
Cassandra Cain is not currently Batgirl in the Comic Books. While she is still alive, I?m not sure if she will return as Batgirl or move on to a new persona. She was a stronger Batgirl and edgier Batgirl than Barbara ever was and certainly had her strong points.
Still Barbara will always be the sentimental favorite.

They did cancel Batgirl. It ended with Cassier killing her mother, Lady Shiva. She left her hanging over a Lazarus Pit, so naturally Shiva came back.
Spoilers for Robin One Year Later:
In recent Robin issues Cassie has taken over the League of Assassins (formerly run by Ra's al Ghul). She tried to get Robin to join her, but he refused. I am not really sure where things are going to go from there.

She moved her toes, which is a start, but nothing has come out of it. I don't know if Gail Simone forgot about that plot point or DC put a stop to any other development of it. I lean more toward DC not allowing her to have Barbara getting better. Oracle has too much fan and critical popularity.

i like cassandra better as batgirl cuz she's more like batman and she just rox. too bad shes the head of an assasin group now 
barbara was good too but i like her as oracle (altho i want her to be able to walk again, she deserves it)
