I was bouncing around the local Targets today(Upstate NY) and noticed couple of the Lego Batman sets on the clearance rack. I had all of the sets there except the Collectors Edition Batmobile which goes for $70, it was tagged at $50.
I decided to do a price check, since most items ring up different then there clearance tag, and sure enough I got this amazing Batmobile for $17!!! This was the best clearance find ever, not to mention Lego set !!

Thanks for the tip, Necofurtim. Boy... Been a while since you've post!
I might stop by their this weekend. I always felt Batman LEGOs were way overpriced, but that sounds like a hell of a deal. Most of my figure purchases in recent months have been in Target's clearance aisle, like the JLU Doomsday box set for $10.

I've been busy with school lately, I just had to share this. It took me 5 hours last night to put it together, but it was worth it. I didn't appreciate the scale of it till about halfway through!
Now if the Batcave and Arkham sets would make their way to the end of the isle....

I saw that set tuesday for $35 and I almost bought it, but decided not to. Then I went back to Target yesterday and got it for $17. I was very happy I waited.

I just spent all yesterday building my batmobile set. My mom gave my brother one for easter, so we had a contest to see who could build theirs faster. Unfortunately he made the mistake of saying I'm not going to let a girl beat me!! So he was doomed!! It took him more than an hour longer than it took me to build it!!!

Went out looking to pick up another set for a friend today, all Targets are empty...I got real lucky.
PS - How long did it take you to build yours?
