Finally, FINALLY, I'll have the DCSH Catwoman and Clayface! I just won both of them on Ebay for just over $51. More than I wanted to spend, but since I see them go for more than $35 each all the time, I reckon it's not too bad. Now, all I want from that line that I don't yet have are the Knight Shadow Batman and the black and gray version of the Wave 3 Batman. I don't usually go in for repaints, but those two are just awesome. (I'm still missing Azrael, but since he's being reissued later this year, I'm not worried about him right now.) It's nice to be putting my income tax stimulus to good use!

i think THAT particular clayface is the best figure of him i've seen yet. he's a character i don't see get NEARLY enough props. i'm DYING to see someone do him in a film (whoever picks the franchise up after nolan). he was one of my favorite villians on btas. now they just need to get some more obscure characters like ventriloquist and doctor destiny in that line! |

I never cared much for Clayface until he was introduced in BTAS, but I loved the way he was portrayed in that series. He would be very interesting in live-action.
I';ve been hoping they announce a Dr. Destiny and Vntriloquist/Scarface myself!

there's a ton of great untapped villians... i think ventriloquist has only ever had 2 figures so far (in a toys r us exclusive 4-pack and "the batman" one). dr. destiny is just plain ignored. i mean... a character who uses dreams to hurt his enemies, whos design "inspired" another (sadly) more famous villian's look... his appearance on justice league was rad, but then they never quite got back to him. :\
maxie zeus is another one who's been denied a figure, could always use more black mask, great white (hellooooooooo! mattel?! anyone home?), cluemaster, spoiler, stephanie brown as robin, tarantula, oracle, red hood, onyx, prometheus... there's just a wealth of untapped or underused characters here. |

Batman has probably the best "rogues gallery" in comicbooks/superhero-dom, arguably even better than Dick Tracy (which certainly influenced Bob Kane).
In the figure department, there are MANY untapped ones out there. I'd rather have more villains than "Camo Ninja Airborne Batman."
Clayface isn't my favorite (neither is ManBat, as I am not a fan of the more fanciful characters), though BTAS did an excellent job with the character and almost every media form has followed suit afterwards. I'd be curious as to HOW Nolan would do the character should be even think about it.
Congrats on the figure!

well, i personally wouldn't want nolan doing clayface... if he thinks penguin is too fantastical, he'd have a hard time swallowing someone as sci-fi as clayface. |
