Michael Caine:"When you see the make-up -- he looks like he's mentally gone. He puts the make-up on to disguise himself and then goes and never takes it off again, or washes, so gradually it looks like leprosy."
Indeed. I like the gradual deformation of the character. This dude is going to be creepy!

The Today Show's Al Roker did a set visit on TDK
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vFSIq2Tgp-8
It gives us an amazing look at the Batsuit (Which looks way more badass then you could ever imagin) as well as interviews with Bale, Eckhart, and Nolan.
It should be noted they have absolutley no footage of The Joker. They mention him, but out of their apparant ignorance they showed fan art instead of an actual photo.

I turned in a cop for breaking the law on the We are the Answer site. When I did, I gave my phone number. I got a phone call a couple of hours ago telling me that I need to keep my mouth shut, and I don't understand what the cops go through.
It is pretty cool how they are attempting to make the promotion of the movie so interactive.
Anyone else get a phone call?

judging from the video clips and this picture, i guess the lenses will only appear for a little bit. that's cool with me. in fact, that's good news for me.

I'm guessing he's going to use them mostly in action scenes, something where he's in the dark, you know? Giving him that other worldly feel when he's facing baddies and the human conection of eye contact when he's talking.
And it's cool seeing Joker finally going nuts, you know? It's cool seeing him in the menacing crazy hate filled look, but to finally see hime explode is awesome. Am I the only one getting a Brad Dourif vibe from him?

It's like I've been saying, don't get dissapointed by the make-up just yet. So far we've seen Joker in
1. A Party
2. A chase
3. A holding cell
4. A bank Robbery
5. Anouther outdoors scene
6. His T.V. anouncments
7. A car
and promo photos.
Now just about every photo we've seen, with the exeption of the car, was from before August (As the holding cell, party, and the T.V. anouncments were in the Wizard World preview, and everything else was shot publicly) At that time Nolan admited to having about half the film shot.
So theortically, expecting those scenes to be in the 1st and 2nd acts of the film, some point during the 2nd act Joker might get the make-up burned to his skin and in the 3rd act he could be perma clown.
That's not saying he will do that, but I'm just saying don't give up hope until you see the movie.

How so? Because of a few pictures and a quote from an actor who has almost nothing to do with the character and is known for changing his stories? you gotta remember that we know next to nothing about this movie, Nolan still has a LOT under his sleves.
And you gotta remember, just because it doesn't go beyond his neck doen't mean it's not part of his skin, the holding cell scene might be him post chemical bath (am I the only one who's curious as to what liquid he was submerged in to run his make-up?)
Of course, I could be wrong, The might have attempted to wash his make-up off or something. But in any case, it's not safe to say anything.

true. and belive me i hope ur right. i dont really mind the fact that jokers entire body isnt white and it is very possible that his skin does somethime get ruined.
i think its just low-strength acid(just strong enough to burn a little) that does that to his skin.

They also posted site at Whysoserious.com where you can regester for tickets for IMAX screenings in select cities... What it is wasn't mentiones.
http://whysoserious.com/steprightup/register.aspx
It's also worht noting that the prologue was screened for the first time last night in New York, only about 60 people, all press, were there to see it.
You can see Wizard's description of the prologue here, but be warned it is VERY SPOILERISH, if you want to see the prologue with your own eyes, you might not want to look at it.
