If there was a The Superman, following The Batman, would a concept that I've heard time and time again on their shows like the original pitch to JL, of Superman being a young guy kinda like Batman is/was in TB work again?

Because in Grundy's Night, there is that statue of Superman (Yes, it is) so he has been around for a while. Him being young prolly wouldn't work because of that. And sidekicks so the viewers? I can see Cadmus' Superboy in the first season and Supergirl in the second. (Or vice-versa).

So my question, yet again, is:
If there was a The Superman, would a concept like TB be/could be repeated?

You gotta remember, The Batman has been around for 3 to 4 years, and if they go with the comic time line, Supes had been around about a year before Batman. So we're looking at a 4 to 5 year time span. I'm sure that after the first 6 months there were all kinds of toys, statues and everything else for The Man Of Steel.

That statue was thrown in for fun...just an easter egg for fans, it in no way represents anything in official continuity.

I think it'd be best, if they do a Supes toon in the same universe as the Batman, if they bring him in during the present time of the Batman, so that they can begin operating simultaneously and inter-twine. Thats just me, though.

How come we always think the folow-up to The Batman will be The Superman? I doubt that would work for real. Because The Batman is very easy to pronouce, The Superman isn't. And seen mainly in the show where alot of people say "Its the Batman!" etc.

You know, how about the show called "It's Superman"? Its very easy to pronouce and sorta similar to TB's title.

Like the book.

Is there a screen capture of the statue out there somewhere? I had heard of it before, but I am largely just interested in what Superman looks like in that art style.

It would not have to be called The Superman to coincide with The Batman (the "the" has always bugged me anyway). There is really no reason to call it Superman. Add "the Man of Steel" if they feel liek they have to add a modifier.

The way he appeared in the episode:

Through auto correcting, I came up with this:

Now, from contrasting and midtoneing:

That is definitely an easter egg. I couldn't tell anything until the last modification. Pretty cool one though.

yeah, i noticed that and i definetly think its just in there to create what just happened, speculation about a possible superman show. i dont think its an indication of a The Superman show.
