ISSUE SUMMARY: Darkseid has taken Kara Zor-El to Apokolips, and Superman is determined to bring her back. Accompanied by Batman, Wonder Woman and Big Barda, he makes his way to Darkseid's planet, where they encounter the Female Furies and others of Darkseid's troops. Superman finds Kara with Darkseid, who says that the girl can leave with Superman if that is what she desires. Superman assumes that she will want to go with him, but he is in error, and Kara seems likely to obey Darkesid when he tells her to kill her cousin.
