PLOT:
Sin-Fang and his men open fire as Robin, Violet and Spoiler dive for cover. Robin orders whoever is behind the Spoiler mask to leave town immediately after this. Upon being given
her orders, the Spoiler does exactly the opposite and goes head on towards Sin Fang's gunmen. Robin swoops in just in time to save Spoiler's life.
While Spoiler is checking on Tim's wounds, Violet takes the opportunity to challenge Sin-Fang to a one on on. Her cockiness gets the best of her and Sin-Fang soon gains the upper hand. Tim and Spoiler both step in to rescue her.
Meanwhile outside, Marcel Pincus is standing outside in the rain wearing only his underwear and socks as he waits for his contact. A green sedan pulls forward and the window rolls down revealing Detectives Cavallo and Wise. Marcel gets in the backseat
of the car and greets his cohorts, barely noticing the fact that the backseat has already been covered in plastic. Detective Wise turns around and fires a single round into Marcel's skull.
Back in the fish market, Robin decides to pack it in and radios for the Red Bird. The car comes crashing through the wall, taking out Sin-Fang's guards. Robin pulls the badly beaten Violet into the Red Bird but Spoiler refuses the offer. After throwing a smoke grenade, Spoiler escapes on her own.
Tim and Violet drive away under a hail of gunfire and RPG explosions while Tim laments about his car's utter destruction.
A ways away from the market Tim tells Violet that he's dropping her off at the nearest hospital and that she too should end her crime fighting ways tonight. When Tim accuses her of having primarily selfish motives Violet takes a swing at him and forces him to pull over. She
exits the Red-Bird and runs off into the night. Tim calls Batman and asks him to meet him in twenty minutes in Gotham Hills.
When Spoiler returns to her apartment in Gotham Hills, Batman and Robin are waiting for her. Robin tells the Spoiler that whoever she is, her
crime fighting days are over. Angered, Spoiler pulls back her mask and reveals herself to be Stephanie Brown.
Robin rushes over to Stephanie and gives her a kiss while Batman looks only slightly surprised. He tells Tim that the situation surrounding Stephanie's death never seemed right to him and although he had suspicions - he could never be sure (which is why there
never was a memorial in the Bat-Cave). Stephanie explains that Leslie had faked her death and took her to Africa, away from the crime fighting lifestyle that Leslie so disapproved of.
After a brief reunion with Alfred in the Bat-Cave, Stephanie and Tim head to the hospital where Stephanie's mother is absolutely shocked to see her daughter alive.
